The deadline for submitting an abstract to 15th International Symposium on MPS and Related Diseases is: March 4 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The submitting author will be notified of acceptance with additional information at the end of April 11, 2018, via email.

Late-Breaking Abstracts

Late-breaking abstracts will be accepted by 15th International Symposium on MPS and Related Diseases beginning March 12. Abstracts must be submitted and finalized no later than June 24 at 11:59 p.m. EST. After June 24, all late-breaking abstracts are considered final, and no changes may be made. The submitting author of the abstract will be notified of acceptance for presentation by July 9.

Poster Session Times:

POSTER PRESENTATIONS WILL BE DIVIDED INTO TWO SEPARATE SESSIONS. Poster presentations are scheduled for August 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and August 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Poster Presentation Guidelines:

The National MPS Society has teamed-up with the in-house FedEx Office to offer a special 50% discount on scientific posters. Helpful information on preparing your poster:

  • Posters cannot be larger than 48 x 48 inches
    • Acceptable sizes below:
    • 36×48
    • 38×44
    • 42×45
  • Use block lettering (at least ½” high) for other portions of your presentation to add emphasis and easy readability.
  • Keep illustrative material simple by using charts, graphs, drawings and pictures. Remember that illustrations will be viewed from three to five feet away.
  • It is suggested to use matte (silk) finish for photographs. This will help diminish glare.
  • Handouts are recommended but not required for attendees.
